Today’s meeting was outdoors! We had King Cake and hung out with our special guest geographer, Winnie the dog.
Next week we’ll be carpooling to Byron’s BBQ in NW Houston to discuss the diffusion of certain BBQ practices from Louisiana to Beaumont to Houston over lunch. Beef links anyone??

We just happened to find ourselves at the Houston Museum of Natural Science today, and it was amazing! Check out that map of the old and new world from the early 1500’s!! Fascinating.. 💚💙🌎
