Educators from across the Houston area recently came together for a transformative professional development experience with Rice University's Center for College Readiness. The AP Community of Practice workshop empowered 28 educators from 12 school districts with advanced strategies to enhance AP instruction. Meet Laura Thompson, one of the expert instructors leading the AP Summer Institute at Rice University. With 30 years of experience teaching art and 15 years as an AP reader and table leader, Laura brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the program.
