Sunday Night Rule: Don’t Let Monday Start at Zero
Before you end the weekend, create a “Monday Starter Pack” for the asset you’re building.
Most people lose the first part of Monday deciding what to do, reopening tabs, finding notes, rewriting prompts, and trying to remember where they stopped.
AI can remove that restart cost.
Tonight, spend 15 minutes creating four things:
1. NEXT ACTION
Write the single concrete action that moves the asset forward tomorrow. Not “work on website.” Try: “Write the landing-page promise for gig workers who struggle to calculate true profit.”
2. CONTEXT PACKET
Put the relevant notes, customer feedback, examples, constraints, and current draft in one place.
3. STARTER PROMPT
Create one prompt that gives AI the context and tells it exactly what tomorrow’s work session must produce.
4. DEFINITION OF DONE
Decide what must exist before the session ends. One page? Three customer messages? A working calculator formula? A finished draft?
Then stop.
Tomorrow, you should be able to open one document, paste one prompt, and begin producing within minutes.
This matters if you have a job, drive gigs, raise children, or build after hours. Your scarce resource is not only time. It is also the mental energy lost every time you restart.
Use AI to preserve momentum between work sessions.
TONIGHT: PACKAGE THE CONTEXT → TOMORROW: EXECUTE → SAVE THE RESULT → REPEAT
The goal is not to make Monday busier.
It is to make the first 30 minutes count.
