MATH TIP MONDAY: ALGEBRA
A common mistake in Algebra is forgetting that when you solve for the variable "x" and it's squared, you end up having a positive and negative result. In this case, the answer is x = 3 and -3, because if you were to square them both, whether positive or negative, they would still equal (+) 9.
