Our current PGY-1 Interns had the opportunity to attend TCEP 2026. Over the weekend they heard, read and discussed current research, one of which was presented by our very own Dr. King. We also competed and won first place in the OlEMpic Games Competition!

Our First New Intern Spotlight:
Dr. Jordan Daniels, DO
Hometown: Rexburg, Idaho
Medical School: Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine Southern Utah
Favorite Hobbies: I love being outdoors with my family. We love parks, hiking, camping, biking, and swimming. When I get the chance I love to mountain bike and play guitar. On lazy days you will probably catch me and my boys playing Minecraft or super smash together.
What’s something interesting about you: I have a twin sister who is also in healthcare!
If you didn’t choose medicine, which other profession would you have chosen: Probably physics or engineering. I have always been interested in how things work and applying that knowledge to create something that’s functional. Both of those fields focus on that quite heavily.
If you could have any superpower what would it be: Super speed. The Flash has always been my favorite superhero.
Welcome to the program!

Taking a moment to recognize a perfect example by Resident Dr. Sanchez of how here at Kingwood we love our patients. Why assess our patient’s capabilities by simply walking them when they can dance? This sweet patient connected with Dr. Sanchez and wanted to teach him a thing or two before leaving his shift. Stick around to see how we are taking patient care to the next level this year!
***No confidential patient care information was shared in the making of this video. Additionally, all photography and videography was obtained while off shift with no patients under the providers care at that time.*** video obtained by family and written permission and consent obtained by all parties.
