Today is another day of moving forward with purpose.

The past several weeks have brought unimaginable loss to the Freedom Guide Dogs family. While we continue to grieve the passing of our beloved founders, Eric and Sharon Loori, we are reminded every day that their vision lives on through the work happening across our organization.

Puppies are learning. Puppy raisers are volunteering countless hours. Dogs are training. Clients are gaining independence. Lives continue to change.

Every wagging tail, every milestone reached, and every guide dog team we create is a reflection of the foundation Eric and Sharon built over more than three decades.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out with kind words, prayers, donations, and unwavering support. Your compassion has carried us through one of the most difficult chapters in our organization's history.

As we look ahead, we remain committed to honoring their legacy by continuing the mission they dedicated their lives to.

The work continues. The legacy lives on.

Ms. Verna. She is a sweet girl whom wants endless cuddles, love, loyalty, attention and her forever home. Verna is incredibly smart and wants to respect her people. She loves to swim and adventure!

Verna had been playing with her brother, before he left the farm with his family, hence the dirt!! Lol

Our Luna is still available. She is 8 months old, incredibly smart and completely vaccinated. She is leashed trained, grooms easily, learns quickly, listens well, wants affection and has strong loyality. She has done great with our children, cats, yard dogs, cows and other wild animals. Luna stays by my side on the adventures out in the woods and through the pastures. She loves to jump and play. She wouldn't mind a new dog friend either :)

Luna and I walking through the herd together. She had not been around the cows yet so I was not for sure how her behavior was going to be and yet she amazed me. ❤️
She was protecting me from the cows. In acknowledgement of that, she will protect her people from many things in life.
