Dream Big Art & Literacy Days bring stories to life through imagination, creativity, and hands-on learning.
With our Imagination Station, we deliver each story in multiple formats at scale—printed books, digital literacy films, music, storytelling, bilingual activity pages, and interactive experiences that meet kids in the way they learn best. Our dual-language approach helps engage both students and families, creating shared learning moments that strengthen literacy, self-expression, and connection.
From one class to one school to an entire community, Dream Big makes it possible to spark art, literacy, and big dreams in a powerful and scalable way.

Dream Big
We are a new platform for storytelling that takes our audience on an experiential journey through our our interactive books, films and songs.
Our creative process brings stories to life in a powerful way, educating and engaging audiences of all ages.
Dream Big takes kids on an inspiring journey through stories that spark imagination, build literacy, and empower them to dream bigger.
Our journey is about more than creating books. It’s about helping children see what’s possible for their lives through storytelling, creativity, and community. With every book purchased and every donation made, we can bring Dream Big Literacy Days to one class, one school, and one community at a time.
Join the journey by buying a book or making a donation to help fund a Dream Big Literacy Day.
Together, we can inspire the next generation to read, dream, and write their own story.
Dream Big began with one big idea: to create a new way of telling stories that inspires children to dream bigger.
That journey started with our first subject, Michael Montgomery, whose story of overcoming a heart defect inspired Heart of a Lion. Mitchel’s legacy lives on in Dream Big Heart of Gold, a story brought together through our Dream Big STAR values. It was first brought to life by Mikayla Pete, the artist behind our first Dream Big story, and by Josh Merwin, Dream Big’s founder and the original big dreamer who imagined a new path for storytelling.
Together, they turned one idea into a movement powered by courage, creativity, and heart.

In December of 1968, Jake Burton wished for a surfboard—but instead, he got a desk. Disappointed but undeterred, Jake used his own money to buy a $10 Snurfer. That small, unexpected pivot sparked a lifelong passion and led him to revolutionize a sport, founding Burton Snowboards and helping bring snowboarding to the world stage—including the Olympics.
What started as a letdown became the foundation of a dream that changed millions of lives.
✨ Sometimes the dream doesn’t arrive the way we expect—but it arrives exactly how we need it.
What have you been initially disappointed by that later worked out for the better?
