Grateful for everyone who joined our BattleBots competition! 🤖💥 79 bots battled across 5 weight classes, with around 20 teams giving it their all! Huge shoutout to our amazing volunteers and big thanks to HACR, UT Austin, and UT Dallas for lending their fields! Special thanks to Team Subzero for bringing their 250 lbs heavyweight for display. Also thanks Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers - University of Houston and for collaborating with us throughout the semester and also competing with battlebots as well!

🔥Throwback to last year when Aiden (who is currently our Combat Robotics Co-Chief), won 2nd place in the 150 g category at the Second Annual Spring Showdown @ Texas A&M University. 🤩🔥 Tomorrow we'll be hosting our own University of Houston Cougar Cup Spring 2024 battlebots competition where 91 bots will compete, making us the 2nd largest event in Houston Battlebot history! Bring your family and friends and join us tomorrow for our own battlebots showdown! 🤖💥
