We had an amazing first day of Second Grade! We did an Egyptian "escape room" from , and for every puzzle she completed she earned a prize! Then we listened to the first chapters of both of our history curriculums, we learned about how to write a story, took a "quest" to Constantinople to learn about Justinian building the Hagia Sophia, played in the pool, then began building the Hagia Sophia on Minecraft!
Smiles were had all day, with only minor complaining at the beginning. Hope this continues!

Happy last day of 1st grade to this girl. It was a hard year. Here's to at least a month off to recuperate and grow together even more.
Hopefully with Daddy helping with some aspects of school when we start 2nd grade, it will be a little less "boring" for her.
