Join Fuller Seminary Texas on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 7:00 pm on campus to celebrate Professor David Taylor's most recent book, Prayers for the Pilgrimage: A Book of Collects for All of Life.
The discussion will be hosted by Collin Cornell, professor of Bible and Mission. Together we will explore the "Collect", an ancient form of prayer, and how they can shape our individual and communal prayer lives. Much like the poetry of the psalms, this form of written prayer involves a dense mix of language and imagery that enables us to say exactly what needs saying to God–and perhaps also what needs saying continually to God.
The first 25 registrants will receive a free copy of the book at the event! David Taylor will be available for book signings prior to the program.
