It is imperative that young people are made aware of the opportunities that are available to them after high school graduation. The public school system encourages students to go to college to earn a degree and get a well paying job. College is not for everybody. College is not the only means of becoming a productive citizen. Trade schools provide an excellent opportunity for students to learn a skill that can immediately be put to use in the workforce. It's cheaper than college and takes less time. Who is promoting this to students?
