Taking a moment together while touring the Jean Lafitte Historical Landmark...

Guided field trips are an excellent opportunity for the neurodiverse to see and explore first hand the historical treasures out in the community.

Our students were fortunate this summer to take a guided tour of the Jean Lafitte Historical Landmark provided by the Galveston Historical Foundation. The tour was a wonderful compliment to the student-selected theme, pirates of the Gulf Coast.

Thank you very much Ms. Sally Harris Branson, and Mr. Francis Nonus III for providing our students with so many additional resources for our research, and an engaging and informative tour of the Maison Rouge.
