What started as a "what if" over coffee among the owners of School of Rock Huntington Beach, School of Rock - Santa Ana, School of Rock Rancho Santa Margarita, and School of Rock Tustin turned into an absolutely electric day of music, community, and pure talent at the Biergarten at Old World Huntington Beach. The mission was to capture that festival magic right here in their own backyard, and thanks to incredible students, staff, and families, the first-ever Orange County School of Rock Bash did exactly that.

The energy was truly unmatched. With two stages running non-stop, the music never hit a dull note. As soon as a House Band finished a killer set on the main stage, the Staff Band was already plugging in and rocking out on the side stage. It created a genuine festival atmosphere, from walking back and forth between stages, grabbing a bite, and cheering on friends from every school across the OC network.

Staff saw students from different schools high-fiving in the crowd, parents mingling over lunch, and a community that stayed loud and proud from the first chord to the very last encore. Thanks to the amazing partnership with the venue, the schools were able to keep the event accessible for everyone, ensuring the focus stayed exactly where it belonged: on the music and the memories.

To the kids who shredded, the parents who danced, and the staff who poured their hearts into the sets, it felt like a community, so much more than just a show.

Our students will be performing at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas from November 13-15, 2026, sharing the stage with KISS, Night Ranger, and more rock legends. The future of rock is hitting the Strip!

School of Rock Blaine celebrated their official grand opening this past Saturday. The air was electric as the community gathered to welcome the newest hub for music, creativity, and education in the Minneapolis area.

The event kicked off with high-voltage energy as the School of Rock St. Paul and School of Rock- Plymouth house bands delivered incredible performances that brought immense talent to the stage. The afternoon was filled with collaborative community festivities including custom face painting by Kay and engaging games hosted by the team from LearningRx Shoreview. Owner Joe Grieman welcomed neighbors into the vibrant new space, packed with unique details like the custom School of Rock guitar swirl clock and the one-of-a-kind concert ticket table.

Our community truly does the coolest things, and Pete Dankelson is the ultimate proof.

He started his journey here as a student, rose to become a celebrated AllStar, and eventually came full circle to inspire the next generation as a teacher at School of Rock Libertyville.

Beyond School of Rock, Pete is a powerhouse. As a musician, author, and motivational speaker, he’s sharing his journey with the world through his book and social media under Petes Diary, proving that rock and roll is all about heart, resilience, and finding your own voice. Pete even has his own custom guitar and signature pedal in collaboration with SoulFire Guitarworks . Whether he’s shredding on stage, now in the music capital of Nashville, or advocating for the facial difference community, Pete embodies the spirit of what we do here.

Spring is the perfect time to shake off the winter rust and start dreaming of the stage. Our summer music camps take that seasonal energy and turn it into a full-blown rock show. Students spend the week jamming in a real band, learning iconic hits, and preparing for a live performance that would make any rock star proud.

What happens when ten School of Rock locations and one superstar join together for one event? An epic night of community, music, and only the best vibes. ✨

The Revel Patio Grill Frisco transformed into a powerhouse of community and rock and roll this past Tuesday as School of Rock brought together ten North Texas locations for an unforgettable live student showcase. The energy was absolutely electric as students from School of Rock Fort Worth, School of Rock McKinney, School of Rock Southlake/Keller, School of Rock Coppell, School of Rock Dallas, School of Rock Flower Mound, School of Rock NorthDallas, School of Rock Midlothian, TX, School of Rock Frisco, and School of Rock Plano got together in one massive collaborative effort that turned the venue into a vibrant sea of House Band kids and eager attendees who supported performers all night at the front of the stage.

A major highlight of the evening was the partnership with legendary drummer Frank Zummo of Sum 41 and Electric Callboy, who jumped on stage to perform two rockin' sets alongside the students, hosted an insightful Q&A session, and spent time meeting the School of Rock community. One of the most meaningful moments of the night was during the Q&A when a local student, who had been facing challenges with bullying at school, found the courage to ask Frank a question about mental health. Frank responded with incredible kindness and validation, ensuring they felt the full support of the community behind them.

Families and students who weren't scheduled to perform packed the house, showing their support and swap stories, and proving that the School of Rock community truly knows how to show up for one another. Beyond the music, the event served as a hub for youth development, featuring booths from SafeSplash Swim School and Mathnasium, offering more opportunities for kids to learn and connect.

Shout out to our North Texas schools and Frank Zummo for coming together for an amazing event that served as a powerful reflection of belonging, connection, and growth. 🥹🥁🤘
