What a difference 7 months makes! I never want to see a 2 in front of my weight again. I still have a few more pounds to lose, but I'm very thankful to have all that weight off. Yes! I still have days where I eat carbs or sweets, but what I've learned is balance. This is not a fad for me, it's a lifestyle change. 🙌🏽🥰

One thing that I've learned over the last year is to value the small things. Things like having the ability to comb your hair, walk up a flight of stairs, & swallow your food. These are a few things that at some point during this year have been taken from me. The overall thing I want to accomplish with this book is prevention! Our body is our temple. Please take care of yourself. I know some autoimmune diseases may be hereditary, but a lot of them are triggered due to the high inflammation in our bodies. Put the sweets, carbs, and unhealthy foods down. Also reduce your stress levels if you are able to. 🗣🗣Special Announcement:As you know I was diagnosed with Polymyositis last year. My Mind, Body, and Soul has been through the ringer. With that being said, I am excited to announce my first book titled: "When I Got Sick: A Story of Tragedy & Triumph...The First Year." This book goes in depth my experiences during this first year battling this disease. I may make it look easy, but it definitely has not been. The E-Book is available 11/11 for pre-order with the official release date of 11/14 for Paperback and E-Book. I always wanted to tell my story, but I never knew this would be the starting point.

Just a short as a couple months ago I experienced the most pain in my life! I had so much pain in my wrists and arms for 2 months, which finally ended up as a diagnosis of osteoarthritis. I am now managing the pain with pain pills, but I definitely do not want to be on pills the rest of my life. Chronic pain will have you thinking death is a better option. I rebuke those negative thoughts though! I'm just being transparent. Stay strong warriors who deal with chronic pain. 🙏🏽🙏🏽❤

As everyone knows I opened my life coaching business last year. Well right as I was opening my business I was diagnosed with Polymyositis. Unfortunately my business had to take a backseat and I had to focus on my health. I originally specialized in Mindset Coaching, however given all the health issues I've been going through the last year God laid it on my heart to re-brand. I've been procrastinating, but a few months ago I finally started studying to be a Health Coach. So here I am, your new Health Coach. I've learned so much the last year going through my own issues, that if I can prevent anyone from having to go through anything like this, I want to. Re-branding is loading... I also have another surprise I'll announce soon! 😘

I can't end the day without recognizing that today is Myositis Awareness Day. I was diagnosed with last October.

What is polymyositis?

Polymyositis is a disease that causes muscles to become irritated and inflamed. The muscles eventually start to break down and become weak. The condition can affect muscles all over the body. This can make even simple movements difficult.

What are the symptoms of polymyositis?

♦️Muscle pain and stiffness.
♦️Muscle weakness, particularly in the belly (abdomen), shoulders, upper arms, and hips.
♦️Joint pain and stiffness.
♦️Trouble catching your breath
♦️Problems with swallowing.
♦️Irregular heart rhythms, if the heart muscle becomes inflamed.

If you stand for nothing you will fall for anything.
