Hello parents, we’re notifying all families who’s apart of the Early REACH - Harris County Child Care Financial Aid Program; that the pilot program is due to end August 2026.

What Does This Mean:

•If your child(ren) are enrolled their care with TEAM Tots Aca. will end and not be funded any longer with Harris County.

• Also always ask your employer if there are any financial aid child care vouchers you can utilize. Most businesses have child care assistance funds set aside,  you’ll need to contact your Human Resource team.

TEFA, Texas Education Freedom Accounts, is a new parent-choice program initiative created by the Texas Legislature to give families greater flexibility in how state education funds are used for their children’s learning. TEFA funds can be used for TEAM Tots Academy tuition, textbooks, instructional materials, and technology expenses, among other expenses. HERE IS WHY TEAM Tots Academy PRIVATE KINDERGARTEN STANDS OUT:
    •    Children may attend up to one academic year early.
    •    Much smaller classes.
    •    Lower student to teacher ratio.
    •    More individualized learning.
    •    Wonder of Learning is the best curriculum.
    •    98% of TEAM Tots Academy 5-year-olds meet or exceed key benchmarks.
    •    Qualified teachers personalize learning to help each child shine.
    •    Families see lasting impact — 97% are satisfied five years after graduation.
    •    On-site and present Owner.
❓❓⁉️⁉️ WHO IS ELEGIBLE?❓❓⁉️⁉️

Children who...
    •    Are U.S. citizens or lawfully admitted into the U.S.
    •    Are eligible to attend a Texas public school.
    •    Reside in Texas.

The parent or legal guardian applies on behalf of the child. If accepted, eligible children can remain in the program until high school graduation. ‼️‼️KEEP THESE DATES IN MIND‼️‼️

APPLICATION OPENS:
February 4, 2026.

APPLICATION DEADLINE:
March 17, 2026.

Notifications about funding status are expected starting in early April 2026 once applications are reviewed. 💰HOW MUCH MIGHT MY CHILD RECEIVE?💰

Each eligible child may receive around $10,474 for 2026 – 2027. Children with disabilities may receive up to $30,000.

If demand exceeds funding, the state uses a priority order (e.g., students with disabilities and lower-income families have priority).
