Today is National Dog Day! This day of course is to celebrate dogs and how they've enriched our lives in invaluable ways, but was created to especially bring to light how many dogs live in shelters without a forever home. Please, if you can, consider volunteering for or making a donation to your local shelter, and don't forget to give your own dog an extra special treat! ❤️🐾🐾❤️

Recently, we released a TikTok video that raised some concerns we would like to address. We genuinely apologize for the lack of clarity. The video was created in response to a specific question about a cafe offering pup cups. Sadly, this has been taken out of context and applied more broadly than intended.
The specific question asked was, “Can service dogs have pup cups?” The response was if you’re in a space where pets are allowed – a pet-friendly patio, your car, etc – yes. If you are inside the cafe, no. Additionally, your service dog shouldn't be watered while sitting at a restaurant table. Alternatively, this can be done before entering the restaurant or in the restroom. As stated by the ADA, “seating, food, and drink are provided for customer use only.”

Allison is from the greater Memphis area. She is a wife and mom to two wonderfully wild little boys. During her childhood Allison discovered her love of art, the freedom of expression it offered her, and the way it allowed her to learn coping techniques. She is currently working to earn her Bachelors of Psychology so she can work in counseling and advocacy, which led her to Hamilton at your Service. In her free time, Allison enjoys reading, creating, binging movies, and traveling.
