Let’s be real—some of these will ruffle feathers 🪶 but somebody had to say it.
Birth work isn’t all crystals, candles, and gentle affirmations. It’s advocacy, sweat, boundaries, and truth.

If your doula isn’t challenging the system or championing your autonomy… are they really serving you?

💬 Drop your favorite “unpopular opinion” below.
📲 And share this with your pregnant friend who deserves a doula that gets it.

Hey mama! This is your sign to get you a prenatal massage because these growing discomforts ain’t it. Love you!

This doula is almost halfway through her pregnancy and feeling amazing. The weather is changing. Life has been a blessing. New beginnings and embracing the transitions. Staying positive and continuing the work I’ve been called to do!

🦋 I still have some spots open for birth clients in December.
🦋 I will be offering belly binding, and closing of the bones until mid January.
🦋 If you would like to donate for my maternity leave and postpartum journey my Venmo is Melina-Laverde. I would be eternally grateful and pray that God brings it back to you ten fold! 🫶🏽

Until then, let’s enjoy the season and welcome these precious babies!!! 💃🏽

Usually I do my closings between 4-6 weeks postpartum. However, we can do them beyond that. Maybe you need to release something within, maybe just give yourself a time for you or maybe you just need to thank your body for all it has done. Cerradas are deeply understanding what your body needs in that moment so that you can close one chapter and begin a new one.

Thank you for allowing me to give you your Closing of the Bones ceremony.

Doulas need doulas too. ☺️💃🏽

I’d like to thank me…🤣

Happy Mother’s Day to all my mamacita’s! Thank you all for the sweet messages.🥰

Thank you God for the blessing of making me a momma to such an amazing little lady, an angel baby, and the dog mama to Taz and Koa. 🤍

Traditional postpartums can look like love, catering, holding space. It can look like giving thanks to your body, embracing the newness of it, loving and who was and what will be. Gratitude for your mindset, just pausing at many moments and showing grace and people around you to help you through.

I had the absolute pleasure of partnering up with on her client to celebrate her cuarentena (40 days pp). Gracias for the opportunity to share culture and traditions with you! 🥰🙏🏽
