Unity Day is the signature event of National Bullying Prevention Month. This is a day when we can come together to send a visible message of building community through kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. The call to action is simple: wear and share the color orange. This vibrant statement becomes a conversation starter, showing support for students who have been bullied and for bullying prevention.

💛 Safety starts with preparation!

On Friday, October 9, Allison Park Elementary staff spent a great morning learning about our new CENTEGIX safety system with Officer Hoffman and Mrs. Redlinger.

Having the opportunity to learn together, ask questions, and strengthen our preparedness supports our ongoing commitment to keeping students and staff safe. We are grateful to Officer Hoffman and Mrs. Redlinger for their guidance and to our staff for their dedication to our school community.

🚀 Inventors at Work! 💡

Our fifth-grade ELA students in Mrs. Robaugh’s class put their creativity and learning into action as they wrapped up our latest HMH Into Reading module, Inventors at Work!

After learning about inventors, inventions, and the process of innovation, students had the opportunity to design their own inventions and create posters to showcase their ideas. They worked collaboratively, applied what they learned from our readings, and used their creativity to think like real-world inventors!

We are so proud of the thought, effort, and imagination our students put into their projects!

Who knows? We may have some future inventors in fifth grade!
