🎉 Kindergarten & New Student Orientation at Allison Park! 🎉

On Tuesday, August 18, Allison Park welcomed our newest Buccaneers and their families for Kindergarten & New Student Orientation! ❤️💛

While parents spent time learning what to expect for the upcoming school year, our students had the opportunity to begin getting comfortable with their new school. Kindergarten students spent time with their teachers, took their very first school bus ride, and became familiar with the cafeteria and lunch routines. Our new students also had the chance to tour Allison Park and learn their way around their new school!

Kindergarten parents participated in a teacher orientation to learn more about their child’s classroom, daily routines, and what they can expect as we begin an exciting new year together.

It was a wonderful morning filled with new faces, new experiences, and lots of excitement for the 2026–2027 school year!

A morning like this takes a team, and we are incredibly thankful for our custodians, cafeteria staff, paraprofessionals, Kindergarten teachers, additional APE staff, and administration who worked together to make the day so special for our students and families.

We loved welcoming our newest members of the Allison Park family and can’t wait to see everyone back soon!

✨ Welcoming Our Newest Chartiers-Houston Educators! ✨

As we prepare to kick off the 2026–2027 school year, Chartiers-Houston School District was excited to welcome our newest team members during our annual New Teacher Induction Day! ❤️💛

Our K–12 administrative team, Superintendent, and Central Office staff spent the morning with our new inductees, welcoming them to the district, sharing what makes Chartiers-Houston special, and helping them prepare for a successful start to the year.

The day continued with a special “Get to Know You” lunch alongside their mentors and union representatives an opportunity to build relationships, ask questions, and begin making connections with the people who will support them throughout their first year at CH.

It was a day filled with new faces, new connections, and lots of excitement for the year ahead!

We are so excited to welcome these outstanding new staff members to the Chartiers-Houston family and can’t wait to see the impact they make on our students! ❤️💛

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to comment and support their favorite school. The response from our community was incredible, and it was amazing to see so many schools represented with such enthusiasm.

Congratulations to the students, teachers, staff, and families at Allison Park Elementary! Your school has earned the top spot through an overwhelming show of community support.

We also want to recognize every school that participated. The excitement and school spirit from all of our local communities made this contest so much fun.

A huge congratulations to the Allison Park Drama Club on their fantastic performances of The Aristocats Kids this past week at both Allison Park and the Benedum Center in Pittsburgh!

Your hard work, dedication, and talent truly paid off, and we could not be more proud of the way you represented Chartiers-Houston. Thank you to our students, directors, staff, and families for making this experience so special.
