With the launch and return of Artemis II we are reminded that we are all part of one incredible earth under one incredible god ♥️🥰 This week students took inspiration from the launch to create some awesome collaborative space murals for our hallways 🥳☄️🚀🛰️ Thank you for the awesome idea from Mrs Sparkles’ mom over at NASA 🤩✨💫

The moment you have all been waiting for is here 😍 These are our top two rodeo pieces for 2026! 🤠🐮 The jewelry drawing is titled “Western Style” by Madison Giffin. It received a Special Merit award. The colorful horse is titled “Blanket of Color” by Jayde Barefield. 🤯😲 it received a Gold Medal Award. 🥇 These incredible pieces will both be on display in the Hayloft Gallery for the entire duration of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for thousands of visitors to see! 🙌🏻🎶 Hopefully y’all can go see them in person! 🤠

We proudly present…. our Rodeo Art winners for 2026!! 🤠 Jayde Barefield and Madison Giffin will both have their artwork displayed in the Hayloft Gallery at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo 🥳🎉 Jayde received a gold medal for her piece titled “Blanket of Color” and Madison received a special merit for her piece titled “Western Style” 🤠🙌🏻 We can’t post their pieces yet because they must now go into another round of judging to determine if they will go to auction 😁🥇 Congratulations girls!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

These are our LSA High school Finalists for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. 🤠 While these pieces won’t be going on display at the rodeo, they were an incredible testimony to the sheer talent of our students here at LSA ✨🎉 Absolutely stunning work y’all!

Way to go LSA Middle Schoolers! These are the finalists from our wonderful 6th, 7th, and 8th grade art classes 🤠🎉 While these pieces won’t go to NRG to be on display, they are still an incredible testament to the skills of our incredibly talented kids 🥳✨ Keep striving for excellence y’all!

How precious are these? 😍 We proudly present LSA Lower School’s finalists for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo this year! 🤠 These are just the sweetest pics and we love to see our youngest artists creating such wonderful work ♥️🙌🏻 Even though these will not be on display at the Hayloft Gallery, they are all awesome examples from our youngest artists! 🥳 Let’s go South!!!

We have more art to share! 🎉 It’s so fun to see students creating such incredible work- often without experiencing art before. Several of these works were done by athletes who just took the class for the credit- but they simply excelled! 😍✨🤠
