Played a private graduation crawfish boil this afternoon, and they wouldn’t let me leave without bringing some home for dinner 🦞😁🎶

Remind me NOT to bring my very mobile and curious toddler to clothing stores where the dressing room “doors” are curtains… 😂

Despite his repeated attempts to escape said occupied dressing room at inopportune times, I managed to find some fun 1970s attire for our “Music of the ‘70s” ukulele concert Thursday at St. Alban’s Chapel on the LSU campus.

Come on out and groove with us! 🕺🎶🙌🏼

WHAT: St. Alban’s Ukulele Orchestra - Spring Concert
WHEN: Thursday, May 14 at 6pm
WHERE: St. Alban’s Chapel on the LSU Campus
COST: Free and open to the public

I hope all you beautiful, brave mamas and mama-figures are getting the STAR TREATMENT today from those you love!

(Personally grateful I’m getting to sleep in and rest today. Haha)

Wishing you a very Happy Mother’s Day 🫶🏻♥️🎶

Mischief managed! 🎙️🕺✨ Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who came out to our “The Songs She Sings” show tonight at the Manship Theatre at Shaw Center for the Arts! It was awesome to see a packed house (what I could see of it, at least, through the spotlights) 🙌🏼

Special thanks to the Manship staff/tech crew and to the incredible musicians who helped bring my creative ideas to life—I couldn’t have done it without y’all!

Now this happy, tired mama is gonna get some well-earned rest 💤

Happy Mother’s Day! ♥️🎶😊

Don’t rain on my parade 🎙️🕺✨

I’m definitely going for a vintage look tonight but I didn’t know the wet weather would make me need a hair scarf too 😉
