It's been a post I've been waiting to make for a long time. This past August marked 5 years since my last cancer treatment. And this Oct marks 5 years when we first heard my experimental treat reduced the cancer by 65% in just 6 weeks. At my recent scan there was no evidence of cancer. The treatment I had is called TILs (tumor infiltrating lymphocytes) by Iovance Biotherapeutics. Appalling the FDA still hasn't approved this treatment when it has worked in so many.

I will never go anywhere else for treatment. The UCHealth and their Anschutz Cancer Center are amazing. They care about you. You're not a number. You're not one of thousands. They treat you like you're their best friend. My doctor and her team are the best in the business. A good friend of mine once said to me "get to a teaching hospital because they get the experimental stuff". His advice and my doctor's experience and tenacity and the hundreds of people praying saved my life.

We (my family and I) feel so blessed with the life we've been given. I have no idea how long I have on this earth but I'll do my best to honor God and live life to the fullest. John 10:10.
