🦄 : 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻?
Adios + Blue Thunder may be polar opposites in about every sense of the word except one thing… the people that believe in them.
Savannah asked me why people are so willing to criticize those that are at the top even if they don’t even know them…
I flipped to Matthew 7:1-2: “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
She looked at me, paused, then “So why do we as humans like to measure each other’s success? What’s wrong with chasing dreams and doing it your way? Why don’t we celebrate them? God planted their dreams, and they were brave enough to chase them. Right Momma?”
I flipped to James 3:16: “For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.”
I told her some aren’t willing to put in the time, work, think out of the box, hear & tell the truth, knock on doors, turn yes into no, fail 100 times to succeed once, or create resources from nothing to accomplish their dreams. So envy takes over and comes out their fingertips.
I explained this verse warns that jealousy and selfish desires lead to chaos and negativity. I explained to her that God is urging us to avoid these harmful feelings and strive for harmony and humility instead.
She nodded her head. “I think I want to run with the dreamers like Matt & Tricia that are Open to chasing big dreams like mine because I know that God has plan for unicorn dreamers like us. God gives horses like Adios & Blue to people He knows can handle the journey. I know I can.”
🥹 Yep kid… don’t be afraid to cheer for others and stop along the way to encourage them to keep going when they are down either. Even if their path is moving faster than yours. Trust His timing. Never stop learning, growing, and above all else being a good human.
Jeremiah 17:7: “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him.”
