On this day, I typically post a reminder that taxation should equal representation.

If you’re upset that you have to pay taxes , remember that you vote on everything from what the tax bracket should be to what the taxes should be used for.

If you’re not happy with contributing to society, it’s because the person representing you is not doing what you want your taxes to go for.

At the end of the day , we all want parks to go to , roads to drive on , buses and trains to take , healthcare for our elderly , mail to flow freely, veterans to be taken care of . That is what your taxes should be going to. If they’re not, you don’t have a problem with taxes. You have a problem with representation ; who is managing your money and what they’re doing with your taxes. 🇺🇸
