As Lone Star State Ques, we recognize the sacrifices of those who came before us and recommit ourselves to serving our communities, uplifting future generations, and preserving the legacy of those who never stopped believing in freedom. The Tarrant County National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) Scholarship Banquet was a tremendous success as we celebrated the achievements of 10 outstanding high school students who were awarded scholarships to support their educational journeys.

The evening was filled with inspiration, excellence, and a commitment to investing in the next generation of leaders. Family members, educators, community leaders, and members of the Divine Nine gathered to recognize the hard work, dedication, and academic accomplishments of these deserving students.

Representing Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. were brothers from Omicron Gamma Gamma Chapter, and Epsilon Alpha Chapter, demonstrating the fraternity’s unwavering commitment to scholarship, leadership, and community service. The event was further honored by the presence of Ninth District Representative Brother Petro Washington, whose attendance highlighted the importance of supporting educational opportunities and empowering our youth.

On May 25, 2026, we observe Memorial Day, a solemn day of remembrance for the men and women who gave their lives while serving in the United States Armed Forces. This day is not about celebration-it is about reflection. It is a time to pause and remember those who never returned home, who stood in harm’s way, and who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of this nation. Men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.—including Brothers from the Mighty Ninth District-are among those who gave their lives in service to this country. Their sacrifice is not just a part of our nation’s history —it is a part of our Brotherhood. We honor them not only for how they died, but for how they lived-men of purpose, courage, and commitment who answered the call when their country needed them most. Today, we remember them.
