The Creature Teacher - Houston

Halloween 2024 was a blast for us this year! Wherever The Creature Teacher is, we have a great time showcasing animals for the community and educating others about these amazing creatures. This year we worked alongside Mr. Michael Molina to bring real live dinosaurs (and the most adorable roo) to his Prehistoric Adventures. The night was full of bugs, reptiles, and Ruby the Red Kangaroo. Also a ton of candy and some awesome props created by Michael. Thank you to Michael as well as those in Spring for coming by the show. These students went wild for our educational program today!! Madagascar Hissing Roaches, Batman the Chinchilla, Mocha the Ferret, Sonic the Hedgehog, Dino the Bearded Dragon, and Orion the Tegu all came out today! We learned about places in the food chain as well as adaptations that help our critters friends survive. Oh and of course baby Ruby the roo was ready for her spotlight. Pretty sure she stole the show! Thank you so much TWE PTA and staff!

Had a great weekend with residents of our neighborhood doing some fun and exciting animal programs! Kids got to see all kinds of neat critters from The Creature Teacher! Thanks to my neighbor Jimmy for taking some action shots!

We had a great time at York Junior High talking about potential career paths, being a Creature Teacher, and getting to see some amazing animals! This was a great opportunity for students to experience some amazing creature we share our planet with. Another great day here at The Creature Teacher! We had such a good time showing students our animals. We discussed the importance of food chains, traits, and adaptations. They, of course, got to pet a Kangaroo!!!!
