2025 CFISD School Board Election – Update
As many of you know, positions 5, 6, and 7 will be on the ballot this November. Over the past six months, CFISD precinct chairs have put in significant time and effort to create a primary-style process. Because these elections are officially “non-partisan,” our goal has been to avoid splitting the conservative vote, which could hand victories to the Democrats.
That process produced a clear recommendation to HCRP, which was accepted, and the Harris County Republican Party has endorsed the following candidates:
• Position 5 – Radele Walker
• Position 6 – Dr. Natalie Blasingame
• Position 7 – George Edwards, CPA
In Positions 5 and 7, Democrats will split their own votes. The main challenge is Position 6, where one Democrat will be on the ballot along with more than one Republican.
Unfortunately, Scott Henry — who has served honorably and whose past contributions I respect — has decided to move forward with his candidacy despite both a written and verbal pledge that he, like all candidates in the process, would step aside if he did not have majority support. A strong supermajority of precinct chairs felt that other candidates were better positioned to advance conservative values and carry the momentum of the board’s achievements (see the “Issues” on Dr. Blassingame’s website for key details).
This isn’t personal; it’s about giving Republican voters the best chance at holding all three seats. Scott (and any candidate) still has until Monday, August 25 at 5PM to withdraw. If he remains in the race, we wish him well and will focus on ensuring victory in November.

• Learn more about the endorsed candidates via websites.
• Consider donating and volunteering.
• Share this information with conservative friends
We have an opportunity to win all three positions and protect the conservative majority on the CFISD School Board — but unity is key. Natalie, Radele and George, are the only republican endorsed candidates in this race. Additional endorsements are coming soon, and we will communicate as they are received. Let’s stay focused and work together.
