Spreadsheet Skills 3 Hour Training Study- $50 Amazon Gift Card Compensation- Please Share with Potentially Interested People!
Researchers at Rice University are investigating the effectiveness of an online job skills training program. The team is led by Dr. Margaret Beier at Rice University, Department of Psychological Sciences. The aim of the study is to investigate how best to train workers and job seekers of all ages.
Participants will learn how to use a spreadsheet program (Google Sheets). We are recruiting participants ranging in age from 40-70, and are especially interested in people who are looking to build their skills in Google Sheets, looking to use those skills at home, at work, or to bolster their job skills.
The study involves a brief online survey and an online, synchronous training session with representatives from Dr. Beier’s lab.
The training is three hours long, can be completed completely virtually, and participants will receive a $50 Amazon gift card upon completion of the study.
The recruitment flyer is below. If you are interested in participating, email [email protected] for more information. If you know anyone who may be interested, please pass on the study information to them.
