Attendance Matters!
September is Attendance Awareness Month, a month dedicated to showing how regular school attendance is essential to academic achievement. Absenteeism in the first month of school can predict poor attendance throughout the school year.
This month, let's help Fort Bend ISD students build a habit of good attendance early and often!

Due to hazardous weather conditions, all Fort Bend ISD classes and after school activities have been cancelled for Tuesday, January 16. We will continue to monitor weather conditions. Any additional updates will be posted on the district website and social media pages. Stay safe and warm.

Fort Bend ISD competes with neighboring school districts for teachers and staff. The district's starting teacher salary is $3,000 lower. Prop A includes funding for competitive pay. www.fortbendisd.com/VATRE

This week we are celebrating National Counselors Week! Look at our beautiful Mrs. Parker!
We truly appreciate everything Mrs. Parker does for our school and our students! Please feel free to participate by having your student make a card, share a "thank you" note or anything you may want to do to show your appreciation for our marvelous counselor.
Speaking of wonderful, she has been awarded the CREST award for counseling excellence, recognized among just a few counselors throughout the state of Texas! We are grateful for the work Mrs. Parker does each and everyday to ensure a safe learning environment for our students and staff.

AFE PTO Stay in the know of everything happening at Arizona Fleming Elementary. The PTO is always looking for volunteer and community leaders to grow the organization and empower parents, teachers and students.
AFE is looking for career day volunteers! It will be November 4th, 2022 from 8:30-12:30pm.
