Let’s make this glueless 13x6 lace frontal unit together, from start to finish. I’m walking you through every single step I use to build a unit like this. This is the exact process I teach inside my course, and by the end of this carousel you will understand exactly what it takes to build a wig that looks like it grew straight out of the scalp. Grab your tools, get comfortable, and swipe through with me. If you have ever wondered what actually separates a beginner wig from a professional one, this is it.

Step 1: take accurate measurements. Step 2: adjust the cap to match. I cannot stress this enough. Most people jump straight to buying hair and building without ever getting this part right, and it shows in the final product every single time. Circumference alone does not make a custom fit. There is more to measuring correctly than most educators are willing to teach you, and that gap is exactly why so many wigs end up sliding, gaping, or sitting wrong on the head. If you take one thing away from this slide, let it be this: your cap adjustment is the foundation everything else is built on. Skip it or rush it, and you will be fighting that wig for the rest of its life.

When you’re done adjusting, your cap should look something like this. Notice how snug and shaped it is now compared to where we started. This is a repeatable process that gives you the same clean result every time, no matter what head size or shape you are working with. Once your cap fits like this, you are set up for a wig that will actually sit right, stay secure, and look intentional instead of thrown together.

Step 3: the fun part. Choose your extensions. This is where your unit starts coming to life and where your creativity gets to shine. Color, texture, length, all of it comes together here. But do not let the fun distract you from the fact that quality extensions matter just as much as the technique you use to install them. The best construction in the world cannot save low quality hair, so choose wisely.

Step 4: pin your frontal for a glueless fit. This one step eliminates the need for glue, tape, sprays or any kind of adhesive against your skin. If you have ever dealt with irritation,

THEY SAVE TIME AND LIVES! 😭😂 the open toe presser foot is a foot with an open front that gives you a CLEAR view of what you’re doing. it allows you to see your needle, the wefts and your stitching path.

there’s nothing an all purpose foot can do for you while making a wig that an open toe foot can’t do BETTER. 🤭

when you’re sewing wefts onto a cap, visibility matters. you need to be able to see exactly where that needle is landing, how close you are to the edge of the weft and where your next stitch is going. the open toe foot takes the guessing out of it.

that means:
✨ straighter stitching
✨ better control around curves
✨ easier double wefting
✨ less accidentally sewing through places you didn’t mean to 😭
✨ AND you can actually see when you’re getting too close to your fingers!

it’s such a small change to your machine, but it makes sewing wigs SO much easier, especially when you’re still learning how to control your machine.

Good morning! Most wig maker’s main hiccup is their customers not buying.. “how do I sell” “I’ve been in business 2 years and I’m not selling”..

After looking at their Instagram pages, there was nothing there making me WANT to buy.
There’s a journey every buyer goes through before they spend money with a business. It’s the KNOW, LIKE, TRUST Factor, in that order.

KNOW. If they don’t know about you, you’re nobody. This is the one most businesses overlook. Posting is not marketing. You can post daily and still be invisible to the people who’d buy from you. Get in front of your target audience so they know who you are and how you help them.

LIKE. Once you have their attention, you need them to like you. Your service could check every box, but if they don’t feel good interacting with you, they won’t buy. Stop hiding behind the service. Your personality gets clients, not your product description.

TRUST. This part is the hardest. For the sale to happen, they need to trust you. It might take a while, and that’s okay, it’s the most important step. Receipts, reviews, results, and showing your actual process build this. People trust proof, not claims. Without trust, there’s no exchange.

And here’s what most people get wrong when they’re “not selling”: it’s usually not your price. It’s that they don’t know you exist, haven’t warmed up to you, or don’t believe you yet.

The fastest way to move people through this journey is social media. My business is built off my lives. My buyers know, like, and trust me from posting and going LIVE consistently.

Talent gets noticed. Trust gets paid.

Build trust and you’ll build a relationship that blossoms into so much more for both you and your customer.

We use the entire 2 days to focus on the machine and sewing techniques. Not styling. Not filler stuff to make the time go by. Because thats not the hard work.
We dont force material on you or jam pack the schedule because the extra is given at the end when you receive the login to the course.
The goal of our 1:1 is to make sure you can actually complete a unit on the machine before you leave.
It’s geared towards beginners who know nothing about a sewing machine.
It’s not a class where you complete one wig and we send you about your way. In fact, we actually take the wig apart and make you do it again, and again.

The 1:1 is def worth it if you like hands on instruction.

they said 13x6 frontals can never be glueless. so i showed them.
then they said you can’t do half up half down. so i showed them that too.
then they said okay but a client can’t do it herself. so i showed them my customer, who i shipped a unit to across the states, had it on with no glue, no help, no salon appointment.
the goalpost keeps moving because they keep being wrong.
i did not start teaching glueless construction for out of the blue. i started because i had clients in chemotherapy and radiation who needed units they could slip on and slip off on their own. that is the why behind everything i teach.
