Thank you for your love and continuous support of W.O.G.💖 Paris Simmons is a freshman at the University of Houston and also the second runner up in the 2023 Miss Phi Beta Sigma pageant. Her hobbies include creating choreography, painting, and reading. “I joined Women of Gold to have a strong support of women that I can count on to come talk to when feeling down that feels like a sisterhood. What I like about WOG is the different opportunities that this organization offers either if it’s volunteer hours or business related.” Her favorite thing about Women of Gold would be how caring and supportive they are because they’ll show up for you with no questions asked.

This is a space, open to all women on campus to get dressed up, come and eat a delicious dinner, and be surrounded by other empowering women. We will also be presenting awards to impactful women of UH and the recipient for the Women of Gold “I Am G.O.L.D.” Scholarship winner.

Karlynn is a postbac student who is taking her pre-med requisites. She wants to become a pediatric surgeon and work at Texas Children's Hospital. She joined WOG to be surrounded by like-minded women such as herself. She loves how goal-oriented and motivated WOG are. She loves going to an event and seeing how kind and friendly all the women are! WOG are truly an exceptional organization with the most gracious and loving people in it! She wouldn't want to be in any other organization!!
