Personalized and individualized small arms training to fit your schedule that designed for novices and beginners to feel comfortable with hand guns!

Although I have been teaching other people safe handling of handguns since around 2011, since 2018 I am a USCCA Licensed Fi****ms Instructor. Since 2019 I am also a Texas Licensed LTC (License To Carry) Instructor with authority to help you through the entire Texas process of obtaining your LTC. I also specialize in bringing both novice and "rusty" handgun shooters up to par in safely handling the

Day 35/40 In Mark 9 a father comes to Jesus desperate to see his little boy healed. He says to Jesus “If you can do anything, have compassion on us.” Jesus responds “If you can! All things are possible for those who believe.” To this the father responds with one of the most raw and honest prayers found in scripture. He cries out “I believe…help my unbelief!” Jesus then proves, once again, nothing is impossible for Him by healing the boy. I think one of the great deceptions in our culture is that a Christian is someone who never sins, never struggles, and never doubts. But that is absolute rubbish! Martin Luther had a saying “simul justus et peccator”, a Latin phrase meaning simultaneously sinner and saint. When you put your faith in Jesus you are immediately saved and the Spirit of God immediately and permanently dwells within you so that when God looks up upon you He no longer sees your sins, rather, He sees the righteousness of Jesus. But, on this side of Heaven, there is a daily war that rages inside the Christian. That war is between their flesh and the Spirit of God. The Christian is simultaneously a sinner and a saint. And that is beautifully illustrated in that father‘s prayer; I believe… help my unbelief. Though we all have moments we simultaneously believe and doubt, or desire godliness while choosing sin, don’t let that keep you from coming to Jesus. Be like that desperate father. In the messiness and confusion of belief and unbelief come and fall before Jesus and look to him for salvation and help. Nothing is impossible for him! My nephew, father of Judah who doctors all over have agreed there is no hope nor treatment for his extremely rare cancer and for whom I am praying for God to miraculously heal him from His own glory, is presenting this favorite hymn of mine. Hart has also included an excellent homily on "I believe. Help my unbelief." Please join us in this prayer for a miracle in Judah's life. Thank you!

"Constitutional Carry" was made the law of the land in the Republic of Texas September 1st, 2021! I have been and very much still am in favor of this new law that permits most people to carry in Texas. Here are the laws about who can carry "constitutionally":
Sections 46.02 and 46.04 of the Texas Penal Code describe unlawful carry and possession of a firearm. Generally, to carry a handgun in public in Texas without an LTC, a person must:
Be at least 21 years old
Not have a prior felony conviction as described in Texas Penal Code Section 46.04
Not have a recent conviction for certain types of misdemeanors as described in Texas Penal Code Sections 46.02 and 46.04
Not be subject to an unexpired protective order as described in Texas Penal Code Section 46.04(c)
Not be restricted from possessing a firearm under federal law as described in 18 United States Code Section 922(g)
Not be intoxicated, except in certain situations as described in Texas Penal Code Section 46.02(a-6)

The new Texas law does not give the right to carry a handgun to anyone who was prohibited before the new law took effect. Section 2 of HB 1927 states: persons who are currently prohibited from possessing fi****ms under state and federal law will not gain the right to possess or carry a firearm under this legislation

There are many other laws in Texas that all people who are constitutionally carrying must know and obey! There are also significant advantages under the new law that came into effect September 1st 2021 for those citizens who go through the Texas required course to obtain their "License To Carry".

I would like to offer a FREE class in Houston, TX sometime in August for those who want to know the laws of Texas applicable to ALL licensed and unlicensed carriers of handguns. THIS IS NOT A RANGE USA CLASS AND WILL NOT BE HELD IN A RANGE USA FACILITY where I work. RANGE USA does NOT offer this class and I am therefore NOT violating my "No Competition" contract with them. If you would like to attend this FREE class please send me your email either here on this FB page or via a FB private message. When I know the date and place I will inform you and ask you to register for the class via USCCA!

I hope to see you soon and get to know you as we review these important laws and facts! No, I am NOT a lawyer but I am a certified handgun instructor through USCCA as well as a Texas-Licensed LTC (License To Carry) Instructor and Examiner.
