Manish Srivastava is the new associate dean of Michigan Tech’s College of Business!

During his 18 years at Tech, Srivastava has helped develop accelerated graduate degrees, expand online learning opportunities and strengthen student success, strategic planning and accreditation efforts. Now, he’ll draw on that experience to help guide the College’s continued growth.

"Our main objective is to develop a distinctive and well-balanced business program, one that will be perfectly in keeping with Tech's primary emphasis in science and technology." -Dr. Clyde T. Hardwick, the first Dean of what would become the College of Business.

As Alumni Reunion festivities continue, we're pausing to remember where we started, and celebrate how far we've come.

Originally created as the School of Business and Engineering Administration in 1970, the College of Business has proved our grit, and grown to stand on our own.

Beginning with only seven majors and less than 20 faculty, we now offer a variety of degree programs, including the specialized Tech MBA. Do you know when the Business Administration program began? Leave your guesses in the comments below!
