💻 We’re Hiring: Technology Specialist

Garvan Woodland Gardens is seeking a **Technology Specialist** to serve as the primary technology resource for our team and help support the systems that keep the Gardens running every day.

Located **onsite in Hot Springs, Arkansas**, this position supports technology across the Gardens—from computers and networking to audiovisual equipment, security systems, telecommunications, and digital visitor experiences. The Technology Specialist will work closely with Garvan staff as well as University of Arkansas IT Services to provide reliable, hands-on support.

We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent customer service and communication skills.

💰 Salary: $43,923
💻 Position: Full-time, in-person
🎓 Experience: Technical degree + 3 years of computer support experience OR high school diploma + 5 years of computer support experience

This September, we’re teaming up with the Garland County Library to bring **Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn** by Kenard Pak to life along a special Book Trail in the Evans Children’s Adventure Garden!

Even better? **Garland County Library cardholders receive FREE admission to Garvan Woodland Gardens throughout September!** 🌿

Join us for two special Saturdays:

Kick off the Book Trail with crafts, storytime and plenty of time to explore!

Celebrate the final day with crafts and storytime, followed by our **Children’s Solstice Parade!** Kids are encouraged to dress as their favorite woodland creature. 🦊🦉🐿️

Mornings at Garvan just got a little earlier. 🌿☀️

Beginning today through Labor Day, we’re opening at 7:30 AM!

Beat the heat, take an early morning walk, bring your pup, and see what’s blooming throughout the Gardens. The flowers are showing off, the hummingbirds and butterflies are busy, and there’s something pretty around every corner. 🌸🦋

A little early-morning note: our horticulture team will be working their magic, so you may encounter sprinklers, blowers and other garden care along the way. Golf cart service and the Gift Shop begin at 9 AM.

Come spend your morning with us. 💚

☀️ We know it’s hot, Arkansas. We’ve got you. 🌿

Beginning Monday, August 24, Garvan Woodland Gardens will open at 7:30 AM!

Come early for a morning walk, wander the trails, bring the kids — or bring the dog! 🐾 Enjoy Where the Wind Lives, upcoming events, workshops, kids’ programs and more while you’re here.

We know it’s hot. We love our guests. So we’re opening the gates a little earlier. 💚

A few things to know about our early mornings:
🛍️ The Gift Shop and golf cart service will begin at 9 AM.

🌿 Our amazing Horticulture Team will also be hard at work getting the Gardens ready for the day. During those early morning hours, you may encounter sprinklers running, blowers in use or other routine garden maintenance along the trails. It’s all part of the behind-the-scenes work that keeps Garvan beautiful!

💚 Visit often? Consider a Garvan membership for year-round general admission.
