Very honored and excited to get to work on this action! Paul Sánchez is an outstanding pianist and Steinway artist. The piano has a special voice and I'm excited to give it some new life!

With my daily technical warmup, some Mozart, and some Rachmaninov, I just said goodbye to the original action of my 1938 Steinway Model S. It’s been my faithful friend since 2008, but it’s time now for some new life. I feel really fortunate that Cassie Van Gelder - a master piano technician and real artist - will be giving it new Steinway hammers and whippins. ♥️

I've been looking forward to tuning for Conrad Tao again ever since I first had the pleasure two summers ago! Today's work has been an absolute pleasure, and I can't wait to take in Caleb Teicher's tap dancing moves as well!

It has been my extreme pleasure & honor to work with Garrick Ohlsson today. It feels extra special to me, because he has previously worked with my former boss and piano tech mentor, Bob Grijalva in Michigan. Garrick is a quiet force, and I'm very much looking forward to his performance tomorrow night!
