Field Trip Day in Corning! We listed to gingerbread stories, made gingerbread houses, saw the Gingerbread Invitational at the Rockwell Museum, saw the rest of the exhibits at the museum, used a $5 each budget to shop for candy at a candy store, ordered a drink of choice at a coffee shop, walked around to look at the holiday decorations, and played outside!

We did a new Reader's Theater script, learned about scarcity during economics, did a Zones of Regulation check in, read a Thanksgiving book, did some Thanksgiving riddles, did some dances, made gratitude pumpkins, did some candy corn races, and had a Thanksgiving feast! Join us for today's Class Day from 10am - 1pm! We're meeting at Grandma's Kitchen Arnot Mall located in the Arnot Mall Food Court at 3300 Chambers Road in Horseheads.

The schedule for the Fall Semester is:

September 23: Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser, Economics, Readers Theater, etc.
October 21: Halloween, Economics, Readers Theater, etc.
November 18: Thanksgiving, Economics, Readers Theater, etc.
December 16: Christmas & Winter Holidays, Economics, Readers Theater, etc.

Join the Homeschool Co-op at Arnot Mall for a Field Trip Day to P'Nuts Freedom Farm Animal Sanctuary!

The sanctuary is located on Beckwith Road in Pine City, NY.

Monday, October 7 at 10am

We'll meet up at Chapel Park in Pine City after the farm so the kids can play!

More about P'Nuts Freedom Farm Animal Sanctuary:

Seven years ago, a tiny, fluffy baby squirrel entered our lives and changed everything. "Peanut the Squirrel" quickly captured hearts and became a household name. Despite being reintroduced to the wild, Peanut faced adversity, losing half of his tail in a severe attack. Without developing essential wildlife instincts, Peanut became an indoor, non-releasable squirrel. Remarkably, Peanut went on to become the first squirrel to amass over 1 million, and then 2 million, followers on TikTok, with a combined social media following of over 3 million.

Thanks to the overwhelming love and support from our dedicated followers, we established "P'nuts Freedom Farm." This sanctuary is a haven where neglected and homeless animals receive a second chance at life.

Join us on this incredible journey as we rescue animals in desperate need of care and provide them with the highest quality of life. At P'nuts Freedom Farm, we believe in transforming lives and creating a future full of hope and compassion for every animal we save.

Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser benefitting the kids in the Homeschool Co-op at Arnot Mall!

Show your support of the kids of the Homeschool Co-op at Arnot Mall by attending our Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser! It will be prepared by and served by the kids under the supervision of the Grandma's Kitchen team!

Date & Time:
Monday, September 23 from 5:00-6:30pm. Come at any time during this window!

Menu:
- Bread: Freshly Baked Roasted Garlic Focaccia
- Salad: Local Mixed Greens Side Salad with Local Seasonal Veggies with your choice of Salad Dressing on the side
- Main Course: Spaghetti with Marinara Sauce topped with Parmesean Cheese and Fresh Basil
- Dessert: Vanilla Cupcake with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting

Join us for our First Get Together TODAY!

Bring your own picnic lunch and join us for the first get together of the newly formed Homeschool Co-op at Arnot Mall!

We're meeting at Harris Hill, which is located at 599 Harris Hill Road in Elmira, NY on Monday, September 9 at 10am.

We'll have a picnic, spend time at the playground, play some flag football, and get to know each other in preparation for an amazing fall semester of fun and learning!

Also, a new name is coming soon! The kids are going to select a name for the Homeschool Co-op at the Get Together! There may even be t-shirts coming soon!
