INTRODUCING THE KJCA/KVMA VETERINARY SCHOLARS PROGRAM!

This newly redesigned program is designed for high school seniors interested in pursuing careers in rural and food animal veterinary medicine.

Through hands-on experiences, mentorship, professional networking, and exposure to veterinary practices and educational pathways, participants gain valuable insight into the opportunities and realities of a career in food animal veterinary medicine.
This is an excellent opportunity for Kentucky students to explore the profession, build connections, and gain meaningful real-world experience in veterinary medicine.

Applications for incoming high school seniors are now open!

🧡💙 Although Hopkinsville High School has officially closed its doors, our students proudly represented our chapter one final time at the 97th Kentucky FFA Convention. We couldn’t be more proud of the way they showcased their hard work, leadership, and dedication to agricultural education! 💙🧡

Our Conduct of Chapter Meetings Team represented Hopkinsville FFA with pride. Team members included Dream Miller, John Michael Arvin, Paulina Jiminez, Katie Nguyen, Sophia Burnham, Vianney Cruz, and Sarah Kate Gilliam.

In the Spanish Creed Invitational Leadership Development Event, Paulina Jiminez and Vianney Cruz represented our chapter exceptionally well. Vianney earned an impressive 3rd Place finish in the entire state of Kentucky, a remarkable accomplishment in one of the state’s most competitive events. 🇲🇽🎤

Fernando Ginez Rojas served as one of only 10 Kentucky FFA Foundation Ambassadors selected from across the Commonwealth. He also was one of only three students chosen to speak during the Foundation Board of Trustees meeting, sharing the impact the Kentucky FFA Foundation has had on his FFA journey. 💙

Hopkinsville FFA was proud to have three Agriscience Fair projects represented at the state level:
🌿 Sarah Kate Gilliam – Environmental Services and Natural Resources, Division 3
🥣 Abigail Bourland – Food Products and Processing Systems, Division 4
🐶 Madelin Macario – Animal Science, Division 5

We also congratulate Anthony Webster on earning his Kentucky State FFA Degree, one of the highest honors the Kentucky FFA Association bestows upon its members in recognition of their accomplishments and commitment to agricultural education. 🌟

As we close the chapter on Hopkinsville FFA and look ahead to the future at Christian County High School, we are grateful for these students and the legacy they leave behind. Their accomplishments are a reminder that excellence isn’t defined by a building—it’s defined by the people who call it home. Congratulations to all of our members for representing Hopkinsville FFA so well one final time! 🧡💙🌾
