Bear Grass Gathering and Campout at Ruth Lake.
August 29 and 30. Join us for the overnight, or for a day.

Food/cooking and camping supplies provided.
We can help with gas vouchers, and can help coordinate a group ride in our van from Round Valley. If you need a tent to use or sleeping bag, let us know! We can help.

There will be a ride from the campground to connect with bear grass and learn from experienced care-takers/knowledge sharers.

Tule is a traditional daily essential woven into many areas of Native life. Art, basketry, clothes, hunting gear, food, sleeping mats, and much more (for some tribes in California traditional watercraft).

Come for some hands-on learning. Multiple knowledge sharers will be present to help you connect. Connection strengthens recovery and community.
