🌺 Lei Day at Hale Keiki School 🌺
What a beautiful Lei Day celebration this year! Our 4th-6th grade students truly shined with their graceful hula and speeches about the islands. It was a wonderful reminder of the importance of honoring Hawaii's culture and traditions. We are so proud of their hard work, confidence, and aloha spirit. Mahalo to Mrs. Jackson, Mrs. Shackleford, and Ms. Cruz for making this day so special.

🌿🏕️ Did you know this is one of our favorite 3rd grade traditions at HKS?

Each year, our students head to Camp Palehua for an unforgettable outdoor adventure! They have so much fun sleeping in cabins, exploring the beauty of Hawaiʻi, and learning together beyond the classroom. 🌈✨ From a guided hike at Nānākuli Overlook to a Mālama ʻĀina native plant scavenger hunt, camp crafts, and delicious camp food, the memories (and smiles) are endless!

These moments of connection, mālama ʻāina, and discovery make this annual HKS tradition of going to Camp Palehua truly special. 💛

🚒 Kindergarten Field Trip Fun! 🚒

Our Kindergarten keiki had an exciting and educational visit to the Moanalua Fire Station! The firefighters welcomed us with open arms, showed us their gear and fire trucks, and taught us important lessons about fire safety and helping our community.

Mahalo to the amazing firefighters for taking the time to inspire our young learners and make this such a memorable experience. Our keiki left with big smiles, new knowledge, and lots of admiration for our local heroes! ❤️
