Library:
Every classroom has its own library corner. In addition to this, there is a community lending library available to all students that allows them to check out books to use at home. Here at ABF Learning Center and Academy, we believe the ability to read and comprehend of the most important skills to be developed from a young age. Playground:
Our outdoor area includes two fenced in playgrounds, each complete with age appropriate materials for outdoor fun. We have installed soft, artificial turf to prevent injury. A 20x20 awning gives our students shade from the heat and weather. Computers:
Computers have been integrated into our classroom materials. Age appropriate programs have been installed to provide skills that include Pre-Reading, Pre-Math, Science, Art/Music, Thinking Skills and more for our Learning Center students. For our Academy students, we promote computer literacy by incorporating online work to further their understanding of topics covered in the classroom. Our Philosophy:
