IT’S HERE. IT’S HERE.

We are officially on retreat eve and beyond excited.

The stage is going in the truck. The supplies are packed. The tiny details we’ve talked about for months are officially becoming real.

Tomorrow, The Capacity Experience begins.

Sarah and I have poured so much thought, heart, intention, and probably an unreasonable number of conversations into creating this weekend.

And now… we get to watch it come to life.

Retreat eve, baby. We’re ready. 🖤

Ever get one weird text, one off tone, one tiny shift in energy and suddenly your brain is like:

Oh. They hate me.

But... maybe your nervous system got activated and started writing a whole story before you had all the information.

This week on Girl… You Good?®, we’re talking about the difference between noticing and narrating, collecting data instead of evidence, and the deeply annoying skill of tolerating not knowing exactly what someone else is thinking.

You might not be hated.

Or maybe...

You might just be dysregulated, babe.

New episode out now wherever you listen.

Q: Will there be breaks?

Unfortunately… yes. 😂

We could absolutely keep going all day, but we also know your brain and nervous system need a minute to catch up.

So we built intentional breaks into the schedule for you to snack, change scenery, stretch your legs, reset, and keep your energy up.

And yes, there is a nice fat lunch break.

The goal is not to squeeze every possible second out of you.

The goal is to help you stay present enough to actually get something out of the experience.

Q: What if I get emotional?

Hell yeah.

Release. Breakthrough. Tears. Silence. Laughter. Needing a minute.

We celebrate you expressing your authentic self in whatever way is actually true for you.

If that means crying, cry.
If that means getting quiet, get quiet.
If that means you need space, take it.

And also: there is absolutely no requirement to cry.

No performative tears. No trying to manufacture a breakthrough because you think that’s what a retreat is supposed to look like.

Only honest-to-God tears welcomed. LOL.

However you show up emotionally, we want it to be real.

Q: How physical is The Capacity Experience?

The movement is pretty simple: you’ll walk around the room, move between activities, change positions, and occasionally carry or hold something as part of an exercise.

We are not running, doing workouts, or turning this into boot camp.

Everything is modifiable.

If you have a physical limitation, mobility concern, injury, chronic issue, or anything else that makes you wonder, “Can I actually do this retreat?” the answer is very likely yes.

We want you participating in a way that works for your body, not proving anything to us.

If you have a specific concern, DM us and we can talk through it with you.

Episode 5 is a little less therapy and a little more… us absolutely losing it. 😂

Because apparently putting two therapists in front of a camera also means a lot of laughing, restarting, side comments, and trying to pull it together.

Consider this your reminder that the people talking about nervous systems, capacity, and healing are also deeply unserious sometimes.

WE’RE BACK. 🎙️

Season 3 of Girl… You Good?® is officially here.

Today’s episode: Where Are All the Pleased People?

Because for all the energy we spend people-pleasing… there sure are a lot of unpleased people walking around.

Turns out twisting yourself into a pretzel to keep everyone happy doesn’t actually make everyone happy. It mostly just makes you tired.

We’re talking about it today.

Listen wherever you get your podcasts. 🖤

What do 2 therapists think about **“if they wanted to, they would”?**

Episode 5: It sounds like a truth bomb.

But… it’s complicated.

Wanting to do something and actually having the capacity to do it are not always the same thing.

Someone can genuinely want to communicate better, show up differently, set a boundary, be more consistent, or change a pattern… and still not currently have the skills, regulation, support, or capacity to get there.

And no, that does **not** mean you have to tolerate crappy behavior because someone *wants* to do better.

It just means human behavior is usually more nuanced than:
“If they wanted to, they would.”

Sometimes they want to.

And sometimes the thing they want is not yet accessible to them.

You still get to decide what works for you.

Big thanks to for bringing this series to life.

Networking, but make it Dolly-coded.

I love getting to be part of WBON of the Triangle and a room full of women who are building big things and cheering each other on while we do it.

And yes, the silver shoes were absolutely necessary.

Nobody is doing anything wrong.
Nothing needs to be different.

AND, I hate it.
