Cranking out plenty of flowers for this weekend’s event The Market at White Barns

Attention Milwaukee area friends!!! 🗣️
I’ve had a few people ask me when my next Milwaukee area show would be and it will be this weekend at Northwind Perennial Farm in Burlington for their Antique and Garden Sale on Friday and Saturday 💛🤍💜

Let me tell you 🤫 I bought some really really cool things here last year. It’s a precursor to the Elkhorn Flea Market (iykyk) minus the early rise time and hoards of people 🫩😬

This will be my closest to Milwaukee show until the end of July when I have Art in the Park in Appleton. I realize neither of these are actual “core” Milwaukee, but I still wanted to keep you all up to speed if you were interested in getting yourself something nice for yourself or your mom in person and ASAP 💕

What’s on my mind, Facebook asks? Well these primed flowers I get to be colorfully creative with 😍 I’m bringing a rainbow with me on Saturday to Market on the Mississippi 🤗 it’s been a while since I have brought pre-painted flowers to a show…as always, you can decide to paint any of my silver flowers with a good universal bonding primer and high quality spray paint, but sometimes it’s nice to just have it ready to instantly add color to a wall, door, or outdoor fence 😌

I made these two smaller pieces this morning and I don’t want them sitting around collecting dust until my next show April 4th at Great River Makers Market

So I’m throwing them on Facebook and Instagram to see if anyone has been wanting a small/medium frame 🤗

The coneflowers without a background are $30 (9.5” tall, 7.6” wide) and the tiny bouquet in the oval frame is $45 (10” tall, 6.5” wide)

We got like 11 inches of snow last Friday 😵‍💫 but I’m still looking toward spring and the flowers and the colors 🤗

I’m in the middle of applying for art shows right now and going through my camera roll to pick pictures to send in for the jurying process. Some of the pictures I want to submit are “favorited” to find them quicker, but a lot of them are buried in the over 45,000 pictures I have on my phone (literally) 😭 blame the ADHD 🙈 but it’s nice every once in a while to scroll through them all to see different inspiration ideas I had found, cute pictures of my kids, and honestly it’s just nice to see crappy iPhone pictures of my garden and flowers when the weather is so bleak outside right now 🌹

Wellll, while I have been brainstorming how to make the bleeding hearts happen, I was able to get this one wrapped up this morning ☺️

This and a few other pieces I have been working on made it onto my website this morning 🤗

Now back to figuring out the bleeding hearts 🤔😅
