One of the most valuable questions I've learned to ask is:
"Why did this happen?"
Not:
"Who made the mistake?"
Not:
"How do we fix it again?"
But:
"Why did this happen in the first place?"

One of the biggest traps in life and business is confusing activity with progress.
A full calendar doesn't automatically mean you're moving forward.
A long to-do list doesn't guarantee meaningful results.
Sometimes it simply means life is demanding a lot from you.
One question I try to ask myself regularly is:
"What did I do this week that moved me closer to something important?"
Not something urgent.
Not something someone else wanted.
Something that truly matters.
The answer can reveal a lot about where our time and energy are going.

Have you ever stopped in the middle of a busy week and thought:
"Why does everything feel so hard right now?"
Not impossible.
Not catastrophic.
Just... harder than it feels like it should.
For a long time, my solution was simple:
Work harder.
Push through.
Figure it out myself.
But over the years, I learned something important.
Sometimes the problem isn't effort.
Sometimes we're carrying more than we were ever meant to carry alone.
In this week's blog, I share two stories from very different parts of my life that completely changed the way I think about support, responsibility, and trying to do everything myself.
If life feels heavier than it should right now, this one is for you.

A lot of overwhelm comes from trying to mentally carry:
* unfinished tasks
* reminders
* responsibilities
* decisions
* conversations
* things you still need to do
…all at the same time.
That kind of mental juggling makes even simple things feel heavier than they should.
Sometimes the first step isn’t doing more.
It’s creating enough structure to stop carrying everything in your head at once.

I was recently featured in Uniquely You magazine, sharing more about the work I do through The Strategic Hustle.
Most of the time, it’s not about working harder.
It’s about solving the right problem.

Not everything needs a big announcement. Some things just need to be done well.
I’ve updated the Strategic Hustle website to better reflect where this work is headed — and who it’s really for.
