The book fair is coming to our school October 26-30th. Your student can shop with cash but we always recommend an eWallet. Its super easy to set up ahead of time and the perferred method of payment.

You do have to create a new eWallet for every book fair and can do so from our Scholastic home page: https://www.scholastic.com/bf/crisseyelementaryschool

🦁❤️🖤 WE DID IT, CRISSEY LIONS! 🖤❤️🦁

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our Crissey community, we raised a grand total of $15,430 during our Lion Stride Walkathon! 🎉 Our goal was $15,000, and YOU helped us surpass it! This total includes all online donations, cash, and check donations.

Even more exciting… we received donations from ALL 50 STATES! 🇺🇸 What an amazing accomplishment! We can't wait to see the school wide dance party.

Every single donation makes a difference in supporting our students, teachers, staff, and the entire Crissey community. Whether you donated $5 or $500, shared our fundraiser, or encouraged your Lion along the way, THANK YOU for being part of this incredible effort. We are so grateful for a community that continues to show up for our school! ❤️

🍦 NOW FOR THE SWEET REWARD! On October 23rd, Mr. Amick will become a human ice cream sundae! 😂 All students who raised over $150 will have the opportunity to help make this fun celebration happen. We can't wait to see the fun unfold!

🎉 And that's not all! Students who earned our other exciting fundraising prizes—including Teacher for a Day, Principal for a Day, and a private pizza and ice cream party—will be enjoying their rewards soon! Stay tuned for more details and fun updates. More to come! 👀👏

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for making this year's Lion Stride such a success. Our Lions showed what happens when we come together, stay active, and work toward a common goal!

ONCE A LION, ALWAYS A LION! 🦁❤️🖤

We’ve extended our candy drive through this week as well! We could still use some more candy for our upcoming trunk or treat event!

If you’re able to, please send in a bag of individually wrapped candy for your child to feed the candy monsters at school! Thank you to those who have already donated! 🍫🍭🍬

Reminders for this week!

10/09/2026

Today, our Crissey Lions hit the field for our Lion Stride Walkathon to celebrate everyone’s hard work, school spirit, and the incredible community that makes Crissey so special! 🎉

From getting active and cheering each other on to coming together for a common goal, today was a wonderful reminder that when we work together, amazing things happen! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️❤️🖤

We are SO close to reaching our $15,000 fundraising goal, but we only have a few hours left! Every donation, big or small, helps support our students, teachers, and school community. If you’ve been meaning to donate, now is the time! Even $5 makes a difference!

Let’s finish STRONG, Lions! Help us cross that finish line and reach our goal! 🦁💪
