Coach Woods, a founding member of the Callaway High School faculty, is taking a Cambridge course online. This is what he had to say: “It is indicative that Cambridge is truly an international program when your cohort for Focus on Assessment includes teachers from not only the United States, but also Nigeria, Germany, Honduras, Mauritius (E.Africa), Sri Lanka, and Uzbekistan, all while being led by a British instructor. It is good to see different viewpoint from all over the world.” - Eric Woods.

Upcoming 9th grade parents: look for a Cambridge International parent meeting coming soon! I will be planning two meetings. I will send dates out after spring break!
We are making some changes that will help our 9th graders adapt to the rigor!!!!!

Ms. Hudson, Mr. Graham, and Mrs. Snellgrove attended a Cambridge International Conference last week. We learned so much, and we have so many new ideas to implement. Callaway won’t just have Cambridge Advanced cohorts; we will find a way to make every student at Callaway a Cambridge student in at least one or two courses! We are so excited about where the future of Callaway is headed!

The first group of Callaway High students headed to the Model United Nations being held at CSU today and tomorrow. They researched the countries Canada, Peru, Luxembourg and Iraq. They will use their research to work with the other “countries” to solve real-world problems! Thank you Mrs. Whitney for putting this opportunity together for our students!

We got our General Paper scores back yesterday! We had a 73% pass rate which is actually pretty good for the first time students have taken this kind of test. Of course, we are looking to beat that this year! According to my research 73%
Is high for 9th graders. Our babies can do it!!!
