Laura Mathews' dual academic and athletic passions recently coincided with a whirlwind 15 minutes that saw her Senior Design team win the prestigious Stevens Institute of Technology Ansary Competition at the same time she was competing in the Penn Relays, one of the biggest track competition in the U.S.

Last Friday, the School of Systems and Enterprises placed three teams in the final 10 of the Ansary Entrepreneurship Competition at the conclusion of the 2023 Stevens Innovation Expo.
The Maritime Security team comprised of Industrial & Systems Engineering majors took home first prize and $10,000! Two Software Engineering teams also were finalists: GuiDAR and eFish n' Sea.
