Let’s make music this fall—start with a FREE trial lesson at SSC!

Private lessons offer one-on-one instruction for children and adults of all ages, abilities, and musical interests.

Students can study piano, voice, guitar, strings, drums, woodwinds and brass, with opportunities to explore everything from classical to jazz, rock, and pop.

Our experienced faculty works with each student individually, helping them build skills, confidence, and musicianship while working toward their own goals. Students also have opportunities to participate in workshops, recitals, competitions, and performances throughout the year.

Whether your dancer is taking their very first class or ready to build on years of training, SSC offers a welcoming, non-competitive environment where students can develop strong technique, confidence and a love of dance.

Fall classes include:

🎶 Join us for Music Together this fall!

Designed for children ages 0–5 and their caregivers, this 10-week program brings families together to sing, dance, play, and discover the joy of making music.

This fall is going to be so much fun—we’re exploring the Bongos Song Collection in lively 45-minute classes that encourage children to learn through music and movement. Along the way, they’re building language, social-emotional and cognitive skills while developing a musical foundation that can grow along with them.

Classes begin in September and run through November.

SSC Youth Orchestra offers three ensembles designed to meet young musicians at every stage of their development:

🎵 Harmony — beginning
🎵 Repertory — intermediate
🎵 Symphony — advanced

Members rehearse Wednesday evenings at our Duxbury campus and perform exciting orchestral repertoire in a supportive, high-level environment.

One of the season’s biggest opportunities is SSCYO’s annual side-by-side performance with The Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra—giving students the extraordinary experience of performing alongside professional musicians and working with Maestro Steven Karidoyanes!

It was a wonderful week of singing! 🎤🎶

Summer of Song brought together singers of all ages and experience levels for a week filled with music, creativity, and confidence-building.

The week ended on a high note with a fantastic concert, where students shared everything they worked on with family and friends. We loved watching each singer find their own voice and shine on stage.

What an awesome night of music! A huge thank-you to the South Shore YMCA Emilson - Hanover MA for welcoming SSC teaching artists Heather Watson and Ryan McNeice as part of its weekly summer concert series. We loved seeing our faculty share their talents with the community—and such a wonderful audience!

What an awesome week of Rock Band Jam! 🤘🎸

Students played their favorite songs in a real rock band and learned what it takes to make a band successful—from choosing the right music and arranging songs to rehearsing effectively and building confidence on stage.

The week wrapped up with a great performance that showcased not only their musical talent, but also their teamwork, creativity, and hard work.

Great job to all of our rockers—we can't wait to see where your music takes you next!

Thank you to our incredible partners at Harbour Lights Theatre for bringing an unforgettable production of Dear Evan Hansen to the Carr Amphitheater!

It was an honor to welcome this Broadway-caliber production to South Shore Conservatory and to share our campus with such extraordinary artists, musicians, and creative professionals. Special congratulations to director Pascal, Mickey White in the title role, and the entire cast, orchestra, crew, and production team for presenting such an inspiring show.

Most of all, thanks to everyone who joined us and helped make this inaugural Harbour Lights Theatre Mainstage production such a success. We’re proud to bring live professional theater to our community and look forward to many more unforgettable performances together.
