Here’s a quick snippet of how to perform compressions using Hands-Only CPR.

Start in the center of the chest and push hard and fast.

You also don't need a fancy manikin to practice - a pillow works great!

The Hawaii Fire Department operates about 20 full-time fire/medic stations county-wide, along with multiple volunteer fire stations that also support emergency response across Hawaiʻi Island — including here on the East side.

Even with this coverage, we live on a large island with many rural areas — and travel time for responders is real.

Brain damage can begin within 4–6 minutes without oxygen.

Those first few minutes matter.
Hands-Only CPR can keep blood flowing until emergency services arrive.
