The times of rubbing shoulders, of explicit teaching about how to exist in community - specifically in THIS community - make everything go so much more smoothly!

2E kids have so many incredible gifts - and some unique struggles. Project-based homeschooling has been a great fit for ours!

It meets them where they are, lets them work as deeply as they want (often giving them opportunities to focus those quirky interests into something that creates meaning), and also gives them the structure to learn skills and build tools that help with areas they struggle.

I was always torn between structure and freedom, never feeling I could really lean into either without losing something important.

The system we found gave us exactly what we needed - some structure and accountability without sacrificing any of the exciting freedom that was why we homeschooled in the first place!

It’s not always neat or pretty, but it’s REAL and it WORKS.
