Congratulations to Traci Hendricks who has entered "Freetirement" and is journeying on to her next Chapter! Traci, across the years has been a shonuff partner and friend of our various Alumni Clubs( Howard University , Morgan State University, Hampton University, North Carolina A&T State University, North Carolina Central, Shaw University,Spelman, Bennett, Winston Salem, Tuskegee University, Pi Theta Omega, AKA Sorority, Beta Alpha Omega AKA, Morehouse, Florida A&M,Texas Southern) and organizations of HBCUNJ NJ Consortium. Traci has helped us coordinate the annual HBCUNJ Days of Service by which we give back to the community in aiding the Community Food Bank through generous donations and sweat equity.! Update: 2/5/21: Thank you HBCU-NJ members and friends for your love, generosity and cheerful giving as we continue to exceed our initial goal of $1,500.00. To date we have collected $3,570.00 for the Community Food Bank of New Jersey as we prepare for our Virtual Community Day of Service on 2/6/21. (Wear your colors and your college/universities paraphernalia) Your donations are much needed as the food insecurity in New Jersey is projected to see a 56% increase. Essex County alone has a 37% increase as our neighbors are facing challenging times during this Covid -19 pandemic. Your continues to make a difference in the lives of others!
