Very cool news!! One of my favorite photos created this past year, Whispered Memories, was selected for Unique Photo's "This is Photography" Customer Gallery 2025 Competition, and it was also an Honorable Mention in the Minimalist Photography Awards in the Long Exposure Category.

There is something about a clothing line...

My perspective of one of the main attractions in Barcelona the Basílica de la Sagrada Família by Antoni Gaudí. The Sagrada Familia has been under construction since 1882 and is now projected to be completed in 2026, marking the 100th anniversary of Antoni Gaudí's death. It will be the tallest cathedral in the world!

So we took a trip north of Barcelona to visit the Santa Maria de Montserrat, an abbey of the Order of Saint Benedict located on the mountain of Montserrat in Monistrol de Montserrat. In the afternoon, while on the one end...I looked north and saw this scene... it was very hazy (hence the BW option) but this crevice in the hillside was lit up... I could not figure out what was happening, but it was cool! (original image in comments)

The little things that captured my attention while walking the cathedral grounds.

There’s something magical about walking through Park Güell, where Gaudí’s dreamlike designs rise and fall with the land. At moments, I could only see the tops of the structures peek above the hills and crowds, making it feel like you’ve stumbled into a quiet secret—even while surrounded by thousands. Originally conceived as a private residential development, the park was opened to the public in 1926 and later recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984.

One of my favorites from my trip in Barcelona... while wandering the passageways in the Gothic Quarter (referred to as Passatge del Crèdit in Catalan)... and saw this beautiful light that drew me into this magical scene at this gated courtyard.

I love the serenity of these moments...from the rooftop of the Cathedral of Barcelona.

Pretty wild, and this is real! Single frame, no manipulation. From my first day in Barcelona, on the roof of La Pedrera - Casa Milà where there are many sculptures by Antoni Gaudí. While up there, this little white cloud formation appeared... got the long lens out, and got down low to create the perspective.
The sculptures are actually chimneys, stairwell covers, and ventilation towers.
